This is a major change for St Georges Surgery and for our patients, we know this will improve our telephone communication for all incoming/outcoming calls.
This new system will have many more options and the benefits will be for our patients and for our staff. The most dynamic benefit for our reception team is the availability to work from any computer anywhere in the building to answer telephone calls coming into the practice. Currently we are restricted to desk/telephone space with a maximum capacity of 2-3 lines open. With the new system one of the benefits for our patients will enable you to stay in a queue but end the call. When you reach a position where a receptionist is free this phone system will call you back!
All incoming/outgoing calls are still recorded and will continue to be recorded for fact verification & training.
